History of MYT –
After becoming very ill back in 2013, I was sadly diagnosed with ME and Fibromyalgia. This autoimmune disease affected me terribly, both physically and mentally leaving me spending the majority of my time in bed.
I suffered horribly with my motor skills leaving me barely able to plait my little girl’s hair and walking up the stairs (with a break halfway) left me feeling like I’d run a marathon.
I lost the life I once had and sunk into a deep depression. Then I found yoga! I remember when I first started I could barely sit on my bottom as it was so painful – I’d lost so much weight that there was no muscle between my skin and my sitting bones! I persevered, through the shakes, the tears and one hell of a journey, finally qualifying as a Yoga Therapist in November 2018 in Hatha, Kriya and Tantra Yoga as well as applied Anatomy and Physiology, Teaching Methodology, Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Visualisation, the Principles of Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Yoga and Yoga Therapy.
My aim is to help people in the way that yoga has helped me to live a pain-free and happy life.
I have been a fully qualified Massage Therapist since June 2009 qualifying in
